More students in Jiangsu province want to go abroad for postgraduate studies, and the United States was the most popular destination, Modern Express reported on Nov 26.
According to Liu Haifeng, dean of Jiangsu College for International Education, more students have gone abroad for postgraduate study in the past 10 years.
Among the 2,000-plus students from the province who study overseas, 40 percent went to the United States, 15 percent went to South Korea and Japan, 15 percent went to Europe, and 30 percent went to Canada and Australia.
