Ten companies, including well-known names such as Dell and Shiseido, stand out from the 1,000-plus candidates to be named best practitioners of corporate social responsibility in 2013.
Awards will be given by the world's largest multinational human resources company FESCO Adecco on Tuesday.
Tetra Pak, Decathlon, Daikin, Experian, Thermos, Capgemini, Fijifilm and Kimberly-Clark are also in the running.
Awards will be based on a survey, started in October, of companies that FESCO Adecco serves.
The categories are corporate governance, social participation, business commitment and environmental protection.
But the survey found that more than half of the companies in China are not full realizing their CSR in the categories.
About 29.4 percent of the respondents suggested that the board of the company should discuss and keep an eye on CSR. More than 20 percent of respondents suggested that CSR should be embedded into the company's strategic and operational plans.
As a leading multinational human resources company, FESCO Adecco now provides services for more than 150,000 employees from about 3,500 companies.
