China Railway Construction Corp, the second-largest State-owned construction enterprise in China, announced on Tuesday that it signed a deal to connect Algeria's Bejaia port to its East-West Highway.
The deal was won by CRCC and Algerian consortium SAPTA. The total contract is worth $1.3 billion and the CRCCC and consortium contract is worth $1.185 billion.
CRCC, together with China International Trust and Investment Corp, was involved in the construction of the west and center sections of the expressway.
