A total of 26 municipalities, provinces and regions raised local minimum wage levels in 2013, China National Radio reported Wednesday.
The average minimum wage raises in these provincial-level regions stood at 18 percent, according to the report, noting the increase in income has had a downward effect on the country's labor cost advantage, calling for the expediting of the economic restructuring.
