Suning Commerce Group Co, a major Chinese retailer of electronics, has received clearance to operate an international express delivery service from the State Post Bureau. The move is an expansion of its domestic delivery service in its attempt to tap into overseas markets.
The Nanjing-based retailer is one of only 12 applicants who were allowed to offer the service. The move is a boost to its expansion overseas. The company has 31 chain shops in Hong Kong and 11 shops in Japan.
