S Korea embassy warns on ads

The South Korean embassy in Beijing issued an announcement Tuesday warning Chinese consumers about false online advertisements for a cosmetics brand claiming to be exclusively used by South Korean President Park Geun-hye, xinhuanet.net reported.

Some retailers on Taobao have claimed "IMAX" cosmetics were the exclusive brand used by the president and their products were directly imported from South Korea, which the announcement said was untrue.

The embassy has already made strong complaints to Taobao about the violation of business ethics and called for the removal of all false advertisements.
