There will be about 15-20 Chinese companies going public in the US in 2014, Guangzhou-based 21st Century Business Herald reported Thursday, citing David Ethridge, a senior vice president and head of capital markets at NYSE Euronext Inc.
This year may see a renewed wave of US IPO fever buoyed by an uptick in market sentiment, the newspaper reported.
The overall sentiment in the market is expected to be strongly positive toward Chinese companies seeking US IPOs this year, according to Ethridge, who expects technology companies to continue representing the lion's share of the 15-20 IPO issuers.
