The number of women in management positions on the Chinese mainland is greater than the average found across Asia, according to Hays' survey findings sent to the Global Times on Thursday.
The survey of 2,600 employers, conducted as part of the 2014 Hays Salary Guide, found that 36 percent of management roles are held by women on the Chinese mainland. This number compares favorably with the Asian average of 28 percent.
