Six grounded domestically made MA60 airplanes will resume flights on Monday while orders of AVIC were not affected, Tang Jun, general manager of AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co Ltd, was reported as saying by Xinhua News Agency on Saturday.
The MA60s, produced by AVIC Xi'an and operated by China's Joy Air and Okay Airways, had been grounded by authorities since March 1 due to safety concerns.
On the evening of February 25, a MA60 operated by Okay Airways flying from Tianjin to Shenyang was forced to delay its landing due to an improper instrument display about the landing gear.
It was the second time within a month that the model had suffered a technical malfunction.
