Japan's leading camera maker Nikon Corp said Thursday that black dots appearing on pictures taken with its D600 single-lens reflex cameras are "abnormal," according to a post by Shanghai Consumer Council on its official Sina Weibo account.
The company, which has its China headquarters in Shanghai, pledged to exchange D600 cameras that were legally bought in the Chinese mainland for customers who have had to repair the problem at least twice. Customers will be able to get a higher-performance new model within three months.
