New rule for imported formula

Imported baby formula products without Chinese labels will not be allowed to be sold in China starting Tuesday.

The Chinese labels should provide product details such as ingredients, date of production and expiration as well as country of origin, according to a statement from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in September.
