Smartphone maker Xiaomi Technology Co announced Wednesday a plan of furthering its expansion into 10 other countries in Asia, Europe and South America this year.
Lei Jun, Xiaomi's CEO, said that the company has bought a new domain name "mi.com" for $3.6 million, which is believed to be the most expensive in China's Internet history.
The company also launched router and enhanced version of its TV set-top box products on Wednesday.
