Chinese companies showcased their green tech products at the first Ecological Civilization International Show, which kicked off in U.S. city Claremont on Saturday.
Seven exhibitors including Chinese automobile manufacturer BYD Auto and Chinese tech-mogul Huawei Technologies showcased their green energy products in the event.
BYD's electric bus and its E6, a long range pure-electric vehicle, attracted many visitors. The electric bus is the first of its kind in service worldwide. It has already run in LAX airport and Stanford campus in the United States.
Huawei Technologies brought more than 10 high-end products to the show. Because of their energy-saving integrated circuit design, Huawei's products generate no noise and low radiation.
The show also features Streamline, a Las Vegas company that manufactures energy-efficient structural building panels, China national tourist office Los Angeles, which introduced the ecological development in China to the visitors, and China Ecological Civilization, a weekly e-newsletter published by Xinhua News Agency Los Angeles Bureau that focuses on ecological issues in China and around the world.
As one of the first educational trade shows in ecological industry, the Ecological Civilization International Show provides a platform for enterprises that are dedicated to build a better life for human beings not only to showcase and promote their products, but also to be able to communicate with world famous scholars and thinkers in the industry and find inspirations and directions for their future development.
The show lasts to Sunday.
