The first Disneyland on the Chinese mainland expects 30 percent more visitors than originally planned, thanks to an additional investment announced on Tuesday.
The unspecified amount of investment pledged by both Walt Disney and Chinese partner Shanghai Shendi Group will be used for additional facilities in the park.
Shanghai Shendi said though more facilities will be added in the park, they are still within the 3.9 square km mapped out for the park.
The company said the decision for the joint investment is based on their confidence in the bright prospects for the Shanghai park.
