China stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening 0.59 percent higher at 2,022.93.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,208.04, up 0.64 percent.
China's State Council unveiled new regulations to reform the capital market last Friday, and set out nine targets that the country will strive to attain in the coming years.
