Shanghai General Motors (GM), a Sino-U.S. joint venture, will recall 26,579 Buick Enclave vehicles from June 30 because of faulty seat belts, China's quality watchdog announced on Friday.
The vehicles were produced between Aug. 15, 2008 and April 10 this year, said a General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine statement.
The front seat belt cables may break over time. Shanghai GM will replace the parts for free, the statement said.
