Chinese stocks open higher Thursday

Chinese stocks opened slightly higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening up 0.08 percent at 2,051.84 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,395.58 points, up 0.2 percent.
