Beijing-based technology firm Byte Dance confirmed Tuesday that its news app Jinri Toutiao (meaning today's headlines in Chinese) has secured a third-round financing of $100 million, but the company did not disclose details about the investors.
The app was launched in August 2012 and now has over 90 million users, news portal techweb.com.cn reported Tuesday.
