Visits to China by representatives of the Polish authorities make it easier for Polish entrepreneurs to operate in the Chinese market, according to the participants of a Wednesday conference in Warsaw.
The conference focused on an effective model of economic diplomacy in Polish-Chinese relations and was held at the Sejm (lower house).
Polish and Chinese entrepreneurs, officials from the ministries of foreign affairs and economy, as well as representatives of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency and the European Commission office in Poland attended the conference.
"China is a country of success. We want to take advantage of that success," said head of the Sejm Foreign Affairs Committee Grzegorz Schetyna.
Schetyna also said that Poland and Europe needed to take on the challenges of economic relations with China.
"China occupies a very important place in Poland's strategy for business expansion and economic development," said Deputy Economy Minister Andrzej Dycha.
