Microsoft announced Thursday it will take several measures with its chat robot Xiaobing in response to user complaints about obscene content and frequent notifications.
To solve the problem of obscenities, Microsoft said that they had "corrected and filtered" comments reported by users.
Also, to address complaints regarding overwhelming notifications of interaction of Web users with Xiaobing on bloggers' Weibo pages, Microsoft announced in another notice three steps for Xiaobing.
These are not allowing Xiaobing to respond to non-human or zombie users and only responding when being invited by a human host and limiting Xiaobing's communication ability, according to a statement posted on the company's official Weibo account Thursday.
