The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said on Tuesday that it will work to stem obscene content and information from being diffused via mobile applications by putting in place a long-term supervision mechanism.
A blacklist of mobile applications is set to be created, and it will be released on a regular basis to inform app stores of removal of banned applications.
Third party certification and reporting software for healthy applications are also proposed by the ministry.
