Northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region has secured the State Council's approval to establish Xinjiang Bank, media reported on Monday, citing Zhang Chunlin, an official with Xinjiang's development and reform commission.
Xinjiang Bank aims to offer basic financial services to local people and fund local development, finance news portal aastocks.com said.
