The 19th International Conference on Information Quality, on the theme of "Big Data, Data Management and Data Quality" was held on Saturday and Sunday in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province.
Considered the world's most authoritative big data and data quality international event, the conference was launched by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992, aiming to promote the development and exchange of research, technology and practice in the field of information quality and data science.
The conference, which had previously been successfully held 18 times, attracted renowned scholars and business representatives from around the world, including the United States, Canada, Australia, China, England, Ireland, Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Italy, India, Brazil and Argentina.
Hosted by the School of Management at Xi'an Jiaotong University, ICIQ2014 provided an exchange platform for scholars and businesses worldwide to promote cooperation and research in the field of information quality and data science and to upgrade China's research of the science.
