China stocks close 1.38 pct higher on Monday

Chinese shares closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.38 percent to finish at 2,224.65 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went up 1.58 percent to close at 8,009.73 points.
