Legend Holdings, parent of the country's largest PC maker Lenovo, took second spot on the list, followed by textile firm Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Co and telecom equipment maker Huawei Investment & Holdings Co, according to the annual survey by the federation.
The top 500 private companies were ranked according to their business revenues in 2013, with 9.12 billion yuan ($1.48 billion) as the entry threshold, 17.38 percent higher than that of 2012.
The survey also showed that most of the listed enterprises belong to the manufacturing industry.
