China, the world's largest mobile phone market in terms of the number of subscribers, posted a 0.28 percent monthly increase in the number of mobile subscribers to about 1.27 billion in July, data from the country's three telecom operators showed Wednesday.
China Mobile and China Unicom reported a 0.37 percent and 0.3 percent month-on-month growth in the number of mobile subscribers, while China Telecom posted a 0.13 percent monthly decline.
China Mobile also said it had 20.44 million 4G subscribers by the end of July, up 46.63 percent from a month earlier.
