China's service sector activity slightly slowed in September, an official monthly survey showed on Friday.
The purchasing managers index (PMI) of the non-manufacturing sector posted at 54 percent last month, down 0.4 percentage points from August, according to a report jointly released by the National Bureau of Statistics and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below 50 represents contraction.
