China's industry watchdog released on Wednesday the second list of new-energy vehicles that will enjoy an exemption from the purchase tax, as the country seeks to reduce pollution and conserve energy.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology unveiled the first list at the end of August, stating that cars on the list would not have to pay the 10 percent value tax from September to the end of 2017.
The new list includes 28 models of electric passenger cars, 57 models of electric buses, and one model of electric truck.
Passenger cars produced by BAIC Motor Corp, FAW and Dongfeng Motor Co are on the list.
