Chinese manufacturers continued to see operating conditions improve at a fractional pace in October, suggesting weaker expansions of output and new orders.
The HSBC China manufacturing purchasing manager's index (PMI) posted at 50.4 in October, unchanged from the earlier flash reading, and up slightly from 50.2 in September to a three-month high, data company Markit said Monday in a statement.
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below 50 represents contraction.
