Executive president of the China-ASEAN business council Xu Ningning said there were great potentials for complementary cooperation between Zhuzhou and ASEAN.
Xu said this at a promotion fair titled "New Business Chance in 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road" held in Zhuzhou last Friday.
The promotion fair was organized by China-ASEAN business council and the Municipal Commercial Bureau of Zhuzhou city, central China's Hunan province.
According to Zhuzhou's Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the annual trade volume between Zhuzhou and ASEAN countries exceeds 30 million U.S. dollars.
The city's main export products include rail vehicles, electric porcelain, silicon dioxide, drilling equipment, pottery, porcelain products for daily use.
During the promotion fair, representatives from Malaysia's Port Klang International Trade and Halal Industry Development Center introduced the investment policies and development plan of Malaysia's Port Klang Free Trade Zone to local entrepreneurs, expressing hope for exploring international market together.
