Chinese stocks opened slightly higher on Wednesday morning, after the benchmark index rallied to a three-year high on Tuesday as speculation of further policy easing boosted financial shares.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.19 percent, or 5.13 points to open at 2,768.68 points. The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 9,448.37 points, up 0.87 percent, or 81.42 points.
