China's leading PC computer maker Lenovo Group officially unveiled its first smart glasses at 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Tuesday (US time).
The smart glasses is regarded as better-performing than Google smart glasses in some aspects, Xinhua News Agency said on Wednesday, without revealing the price tag and when the gadget will be sold.
The Lenovo smart glasses, called New Glass, was designed for Chinese customers, and could perform several functions such as taking photos, digital map stimulation, and making phone calls, according to the Xinhua report.
Yang Yuanqing, chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, also showed off a trial of his company's glasses, which according to media reports can be worn directly by consumers wearing normal glasses.
