China stocks close lower Tuesday

Chinese shares closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipping 0.89 percent to end at 3,352.96 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index was down 1.16 percent to end at 11,551.87 points.
