China stocks open lower Thursday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Thursday morning, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.41 percent, or 46.74 points, to open at 3,259.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 11,187.3, down 1.47 percent, or 166.9 points.
