French Prime Minister Manuel Valls visited the Airbus A320 Family Final Assembly Line China (FALC) in North China's Tianjin on Thursday.
Valls visited the main hangar of the FALC, where the aircraft structure of the Airbus A320 is assembled.
Valls presented the Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur to Lan Xinguo, former Chairman of Sichuan Airlines, the largest all-Airbus fleet operator in China.
Valls also attended a graduation ceremony for 80 students of the Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering.
Inaugurated in 2008, FALC is a joint venture between Airbus and Aviation Industry Corporation of China.
FALC is the first Airbus final assembly line outside Europe and the third A320 final assembly line.
