Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday morning, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.52 percent, or 16.44 points, to open at 3,120.09.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 11,022.49, down 0.39 percent, or 43.09 points.
