The launch ceremony of a newly approved free trade zone (FTZ) in East China's Fujian Province has been postponed, a local newspaper said Thursday.
The ceremony was scheduled to be held on Friday, but will be delayed for unspecified reasons, Xiamen Daily reported Thursday, citing the provincial government's press department.
The State Council approved three new FTZs in December, with another two in North China's Tianjin and South China's Guangdong Province.
Media reports said that the three FTZs are likely to be officially launched following the annual two sessions, which will be held in March.
