Yahoo shuts Beijing office

Yahoo Inc will shut down its Beijing Global R&D Center, news portal qq.com reported on Wednesday.

Yahoo will integrate the Beijing center's business with the company's other teams and will make a fair arrangement for staff affected by the closure, according to an announcement from Yahoo quoted by the report.

Yahoo's Beijing Global R&D Center was founded in 2009 and has 350 employees, according to the report.
