Chinese in the UK - new documentary

London (CNS) – A documentary about the Chinese in the UK over the past 150 years was recently wrapped by Bai Fan and his film crew. "The aim of this documentary is to display the real lives being led by Chinese there by following the stories of several generations of British Chinese," said Bai, founder of C Cubed Media, his company headquartered in London.

Chinese have immigrated to the UK for 150 years, but no one ever tried to record their adaptation to this country with such a different culture, said Bai, adding that the film would reveal the real and little-known community of British Chinese.

Bai said that it would not have been easy to capture the essence of British Chinese communities, let alone win over viewers with a documentary, unless he courted an internationalized view, so to this end he invited affiliates: a Hollywood director and a top British documentary production team.
