Hainan gets ready for Spring Festival

Haikou (CNS) – Scenic attractions, hotels and tourism agencies in the island province of Hainan have been promoting diverse travel plans for visitors during the forthcoming Spring Festival holiday.

Visitors will be encouraged to learn the Li ethnic minority's spinning and weaving technique, which has been listed as a world intangible cultural heritage.

The dragon dance, lion dance and other activities have been rehearsed and will be performed for visitors during the holiday.

Fireworks displays to celebrate the New Year will take place from January 22 to 24, along with an international music festival.
