Chinese gala to kick off in Sydney

Sydney (CNS) – As the year of the dragon approaches, the Australia Oriental Sing & Dance Group will hold a Spring Festival carnival for Australian Chinese on January 20 in Sydney.

The gala aims to promote Chinese culture overseas and bring overseas Chinese together, said Shi Mingxing, executive chairman of the gala committee, who added that many singers, dancers and associations are enthusiastic about the event.

Zheng Lili, the director of the gala, said that Australian Chinese are looking forward to the show, and that the activity will take place annually in the future.
