300 overseas Chinese end winter camp in Kunming

Kunming(CNS) – Three hundred young overseas Chinese from Myanmar and Laos wrapped up a 10-day winter camp in Kunming of Yunnan Province on Monday.

The winter camp was organized by the China Overseas Exchange Association and the Yunnan Overseas Exchange Association.

The camp started on January 7 and participants were taught four subjects, including Chinese history, geography, culture and language. They also visited many places during their short-term stay in the southwestern province.

Besides, a knowledge competition was held for participants to check their general knowledge about China at the end of the camp on January 16. "We are happy to join such activity and looking forward to more in the future", a participant from Myanmar said.
