Tianjin (CNS) --The Tianjin government made a New Year's resolution to introduce more talent to the city, revealed a local officer on January 31. It plans to lure 2,000 overseas Chinese talents of all kinds, establish three to five Pioneer Parks for these returned students, and support the listing of two enterprises established by the returnees in 2012.

According to an officer from the Tianjin Bureau of Foreign Experts, the government will introduce into the community 600 returnees with doctoral degrees who work in international companies and at top universities or research institutes at middle or high-ranking positions.

It is reported that the Tianjin government started four initiatives to introduce overseas Chinese talents in the early 2011, and expects 10,000 recruits to settle in Tianjin within five years. Their efforts will be backed, from 2011 to 2015, by a yearly fund of 150 million yuan for talent introduction.
