ACAE recruits global talent for aircraft engine program

Shanghai (CNS) –AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd. (ACAE) has put a new round of recruitment in gear, aiming to attract a talent pool of 300 world class achievers, it announced Wednesday.

Presently, ACAE keeps a research and development team of over five hundred people busy, but even this size is far from being enough to support a development program for a large domestic aircraft engine, said vice general manager Zhang Yujin.

According to ACAE, the recruitment effort seeks to fill 220 posts in product design, technology research and development, processing, final assembly, testing and other divisions.

Zhang said high-end talent with 10 to 15 years of overseas experience will be their core targets.

ACAE is one of the subsidiaries of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). It was founded in Shanghai with registered capital of 6 billion RMB in 2009. ACAE's mandate is commercial aircraft engines and related products.
