Nanning (Chinanews.com) -- Four cemeteries in Nanning, the capital city of northwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, now provide online worship services for people whose relatives and friends have been laid to rest there.
The worship page can be accessed through the official website of the regional association of the funeral and interment industry. All tombs are classified by region, row and number, and the convenient searches are assisted with a zoom-in function, the regional civil affairs office explained to the CNS on Tuesday.
The eco-friendly plan is expected to ease roadways to, and inside, the cemeteries during Tomb-sweeping Day on April 4.
Service coverage is planned to include all cemeteries in Guangxi by the 2013 Tomb-sweeping Day, added an official at the civil affairs authority.
