Huizhou (CNS) – A Tantra training spot hidden in Luofu Mountain of Huizhou City, Guangzhou Province, suspected of conducting obscene activities, was finally exposed to the public days ago. Religious believers and web users alike strongly condemn behavior that went so far as to break the law.

It is known that Tantra is a branch of Hinduism in which sexual ritual is employed as a way of entering, intensifying and expanding awareness to dissolve boundaries imposed by the mind. In China, some tantric training institutes advocate sexual freedom and encourage followers to exchange wives or husbands.

Luofu Mountain is also the holy land of Taoism with thousand years of Taoist history, said the local priest Li Jianxin, who complains the alleged Tantric training for soul and body has tainted the region's good name.

Local authorities attached great importance to rumors of the sex scandal. On March 20, officials and local police repaired with an investigation team to Jingxin Village, a mountain training site.

Li Jianxin said he firmly supports the official investigation, believing that the training is sponsored by some illegal institutes for the sole purpose of making money.

Investigation of the scandal continues.
