Beijing (CNS) -- Jeremy Lin will be the star attraction in several friendly games scheduled to be played in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taiwan between July 13 and 25, announced President Zhou Aimin at the American-China Sports Association on Wednesday. The association has just signed a strategic partnership agreement with the China Social Welfare Foundation.
Jeremy is a special gift to Chinese basketball fans in this year's NBA China tour, the second annual tour to be scheduled since it was initiated in 2011.
Fifteen other NBA stars will also participate in the tour, including Iman Shumpert of the Knicks, Blake Griffin of the Clippers, Nuggets duo Arron Afflalo and Jordan Hamilton, and Corey Maggette and Stephen Curry of Warriors.
The star-studded group will not only make a live performance feast for basketball fans, but also promote charitable causes around China.
