Beijing (CNS) -- Art Beijing 2012, a contemporary eclectic art fair, will be opened to visitors at the Beijing Agricultural Exhibition Hall from April 29 to May 2.

Divided into two sections, Contemporary Art and Classic Art, the total exhibition area will cover approximately 20,000 square meters, making it the largest art fair in Asia.

At this year's exhibition, Art Beijing builds on its "locally based and Asia-oriented" concept to deepen its cooperation with domestic art galleries, as well as galleries throughout the Asia-Pacific region, the United States and Europe.

Classic Jian Gallery, China's first to concentrate on classic Western paintings from 18th to 19th century, participated in the fair featuring several iconic European paintings, including Reading Woman by Renoir and Little Boy Blue by Charles Jacques.
