Taipei (CNS) -- A collection of royal jewelry from around the world made its debut at the Taipei Palace Museum on Monday, as the cooperative "Royal Style: Qing Dynasty and Western Court Jewelry" exhibition draws near.

The enchanting exhibition is co-held by the Taipei Palace Museum, the Shenyang Palace Museum and the Cartier Collection.

Most alluring of the pieces are a pearl hairpin worn by Empress Wanrong, wife of the last Qing Emperor Puyi, a Panther brooch made by Cartier in 1949 for the Duchess of Windsor, wife of the former King of England, Edward VIII, as well as a timeless Cartier jewelry creation – a platinum necklace set with diamonds made in 1928 for Sir Bhupindra Singh, Maharajah of Patiala.

The special feast for the treasure island of Taiwan will last from June 9 to September 9.
