中国移动6日表示,近日首次启动对“清澜港——西沙永兴岛”航线的无线网络测试优化,岛屿海面信号覆盖由原先的15公里扩大到了18公里。
Beijing (CNS) -- China Mobile Co has initiated wireless network optimization along the route between Qinglan Port and Xisha Yongxing Island (Q-X), and expanded its signal coverage length from 15 km to 18 km, it said June 6.
Qinglan Port is a significant commercial stop in Wenchang City, on the east coast of Hainan Island. The Q-X route serves as important support line connecting Hainan Island, the Xisha Islands and others in the South China Sea. The route plays a significant role in maintaining security in the area.
In May,China Mobile deployed 13 internet engineers to optimize the internet coverage, eliminated hidden failures in the base station and raised the network capacity.
This move basically satisfied demand for better service from the residents of the Xisha Islands, and at the same time corrected problems with weak and unstable signal strength along the sailing route.
